The curtain treatment here is for a dressing room. The client request was for something that would add interest to the room.
The curtain is in a beautiful silk fabric finished with a fixed 'smocked' heading topped with a 'puff ball'.
The curtain is lined and interlined.
I also made the plaited tieback with two stuffed tubes of the curtain fabric and one of a plain purple silk.
The smocking was done using a purple silk thread.
